Welcome To Troop 175!
Thank you for checking out our troop.  For the last 23 years, troop 175 has strived to provide the very best that scouting has to offer to the youth in our community.  We are a boy led troop whereas the boys plan and run the weekly meetings, campouts and other events.  We believe that all boys should strive to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent, regardless if they are wearing a uniform or not.  This is what makes Troop 175 one of the best Boy Scout troops around!  Please take some time to read more about the Boy Scouts of America and troop 175 and please, come by a visit us anytime!
Since March 15, 1994, Troop 175 has had the honor to see 41 of it's Scouts rise to the highest rank a Boy Scout can achieve, Eagle Scout. The path to Eagle Scout is a long, challenging path but also rewarding. Troop 175 instills in it's Scouts that their future is their own and only they can know how far they want to go in the program. The Troop never forces or pressures a boy to advance, but it also never turns away a Scout who needs help in achieving their goal, whatever that is. Join Troop 175 and find out how fun Scouts can be!

Boy Scout Troop 175 has a scout trip just about every month. Trips have included camping, hiking, climbing, canoeing, white water rafting, sking, dog sledding and much, much more!  Check out some of the locations we have been in recent years here.
Did you know that Presidents John F. Kennedy, Gerald R. Ford, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama were Scouts as youth, and Jimmy Carter was a Scoutmaster? President Kennedy was the first Scout to become president; Gerald Ford was the first (and to date, only) Eagle Scout president.

Boy Scouts is for all boys ages 11-18 or any 10 year old that has earned his Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts.  Click here to learn more about Troop 175 or email our Troop leadership for more information at info@bsa175.com
